Since 1979 every of the 34 NBA finals have featured at least one of the above players.

I love the NBA, but you have to admit, this is a superstar league. Probably because only five guys can play the time, so any superstar can take over.

Take out '90, '94, '95, you go to just six players in 31 NBA finals.

That's just unreal.

Which is why I laugh when LeBron's fan club says that titles/wins are just a team accomplishment.

You can probably piece a few other guys together until you get to bill Russell where this stat would really get crazy.

Oh this is why? This one obscure fact that you were obviously aware existed until 20 minutes ago? That's why you laugh

I added Jerry West along with Bill Russell I did a little research to get this:
Since 1957, 49 out of the last 56 years that at least one of these 10 people were in the NBA Finals.

I added Wes Unseld of the Bullets and you got 53 out of 57 years with at least one of the 11.
1967, 1974, 1976, 1977 are the only years since 1957 that Bill Russell, Jerry West, Wes Unsle, Magic, Bird, Isaiah Thomas, Hakeem, Michael Jordan, Duncan, Kobe, or Wade have not played in.
