Jim Ross pretty much says the same thing on a podcast I listened to awhile back. When Andre would fly, he would drink a crap load of beers and wear a diaper to piss in because he couldn't fit in the planes bathroom.

No way this is true. It's a myth.
Assuming he weighed 190 and the flight was 6 hours (NY-LA) that would give him a BAC of almost 1.6% on landing.

Hogan was actually his beer bitch for awhile. Andre used to drink in Japan and fill up the tub in his hotel room with shite because the toilet was too small.

Andre the Giant was was 274% larger than Boggs but only drank 69% more beer. Color me not impressed

There's an old clip of some former wrestlers Andre's age being asked tales about Andre. Interviewer asks "how many beers could Andre drink?" One of the dude quips "as many as he wanted!"
