It was just a miserable experience last night.
We're better than Syracuse and have been for 3 years. But all it took was 10 minutes of choking and that was it.

As a Syracuse fan, Virginia is undoubtedly a better team than us. Just so happened that anything can happen in college sports. Going to the press was enormous since it forced Virginia to play a tempo that doesn't suit them well.

When the UVA point guard hit that three to put them up 15 I turned and said well this game is over. In about three minutes of game time Syracuse was up 6 points. Crazy turn around.

UVA needed to have someone other than Perrantes take the ball out against the press. Two reasons:
1) He's not big enough to see over or around Roberson.
2) They needed him to be making the catch to calmly break the press. Hall and Brogdon flying up the court completely out of control was hard to watch.
So that was one issue. Ultimately, they didn't make shots when it counted.
