I'm sure the answer is "Duh".

24,000 points should get anyone is and I think it has.

It also helps him that it's not just the NBA HOF because he was the leading scorer on the 2000 Olympic Gold Medal team.

Pretty sure that secures him as a lock.

Yeah, if his cousin got in, then he definitely deserves to be in

This is the basketball HOF we're talking about. Everyone gets in.

That's a curious statement to make. Carter was never as good as peak McGrady, not even close.

21,000 points is pretty much the benchmark. There are 39 players with 21,000 career NBA/ABA points. If you look at the other 38 players, all of then are either current HOFers or future HOF locks. Vince is getting in easily.

Just his dunk over ole boy in the Olympics got him in. I'm sure all of his other accolades won't hurt.

Yes and only because the basketball HOF lets everyone in. Vince was ver good but I wouldn't consider him great. Plus there is that little black mark where he quit on the Raptors and forced his way out. At his peak, he was never a top 5 player in the league. He wasn't even the best player on those Nets finals teams.

If the only thing the dude ever did was dunk on that french guy and nothing else, that alone would get him in.

I defy anyone to disagree.

Overrated One Dimensional Tarheel. Just a gunner on bad teams. Any playoff teams he played for was a role player.
