USC - Texas was one of the best CFB games I've seen in years
THAT is a defensive struggle (as opposed to 2 abortions on offense facing off)

i honestly have never seen a turnover on one side of the ball over 2 games like Texas has done since that opening loss

i think Herman showed why he was so hyped and Darnold showed some chinks in the armor. he's not the QB god that he has been billed as

his spin move right into a USC DL was hilarious

but i think i used the term "magical" to describe his in-pocket scrambling

USC had 400 yards passing and almost 500 yards of total offense.

Is this great defense???

It was definitely a fantastic game. Also WR #9 for UT made some great catches as well. Hats off to both teams last night

and it was what, 17-17 to end regulation?

in modern CFB you're not going to be able to stop competent offenses from churning yards. they're just too good and too variable

to consistently do that, you need the 2011 version of LSU or Bama's defense

Is this a shot at game of the century part 1? Because Bama and LSU crushed everyone else that year.

I think it's more of a shot at the Tenn/Fla cripple fight.

Texas defense made some great plays and didn't miss tackles for the first time in a while (despite the yards given up).

Need to stick with Ehlinger from here on, he's Major 2.0... #11.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game.

I'm glad I switched off the LSU game mid 3rd quarter to watch Texas USC instead

Meh, it was 2 mediocre offenses that make the defenses look better than they really are. I thought the game was sloppy as hell.

USC's receivers outside of Burnett are absolutely terrible. Darnold has to force it more than he did last year when he had Juju and Adoree often coming out of the backfield.
