Rafa is about -350 to win. Fog Dog beat him twice on clay this year, but I think Nadal doesn't like him and is going to make him pay for it. Rafa in four IMO.

thanks for posting. fantastic read. for a long time, i wanted to be a sports psychologist and help with this kinda stuff. part of me still really does, and this story reminded me of why.

That Fish article is incredible.
Mental illnesses / issues / disorders / whatever you want to call them are simply impossible to comprehend. Can't even imagine going through something like that.

Top 100 sectional ranking. She didn't start competing until she was almost 12; late start. She will play her first "designated" tournament in October.
Is he thinking of sending his son to a full time boarding academy? I would not do this. There is plenty of excellent training locally (Southern California). To each his own though depending on what your goals are. I have met a few kids already going to an "online" school instead of a real school. Here again I can't imagine doing this. Every situation and family is different and has different goals. I just want my kid to get a scholarship.
He lives in Richmond. It's either a full time boarding situation or the college park academy where Tiafoe and (i think) Kudla came from. The problem with him staying in Richmond is that he's essentially run of out guys to play against..

Yup, Rafa in four. Even if Rafa isn't playing well, he'll will himself to victory. He has approximately 1000X determination and tenacity vis a vis Fognini. Fab beating him in a five set match that matters strikes me as substantially unlikely.

I don't tend to play the ponies, but I saw where Keys is +130 against my dirty european girl, Ag Rad. I think keys wins that match outright. Put a little sprinkle on it.
Also on Raonic and Ferrer.

Good for her. Cibulkova is a tough customer, so that's a great win. That first set tiebreak was awesome.
