Calling it "Ulty" instantly makes it lame.
So, how do you feel about the term "footy" or "futy" or "futbol"? Does that make soccer sound lame? I'll continue to call it "soccer".
Ulty is shorthand for Ultimate, but you're a smart enough guy to figure that out, right?

Im sorry, ultimate frisbee is not a legitamate sport. Just like ping pong, dodgeball, kickball, badminton, etc.
They are all very fun games to play with your friends. But I refuse to consider them sports to compete with the likes of football/soccer/rugby/basketball/hockey, etc.

Open your eyes. You honestly have no idea how many hundreds/thousands of hours people put into their bodies to excel at the highest level in their chosen sport. I happen to be very passionate about Ultimate. Some people are as passionate about badminton, ping pong, etc. Believe as you wish, brother.

this is the first time I've been kinda sad that Boston lost the 2024 bid. You bet your arse there would have been Ultimate in a Boston olympics.

And you couldn't be more wrong about top-level athletes not playing Ultimate. The boys at the elite level are ballers, many of whom were Div 1 scholarship athletes.
lol. Top-level athletes =/= many of whom were Div 1 scholarship athletes.

Damn, son. What's that? 3 McBurgerBoxes and a couple of Ho Ho's? You need a better job.
You do understand that a per diem is paid in addition to a base salary, right?
Either way, $50 per game is not "professional." shite, do they live in hostels or under bridges?

Thats $13k a year. Plus, maybe theres some sort of performance incentives and a nike deal on the horizon. The real question is how much of that 13k is guaranteed?

I'm hanging out with GI's mom at the McBurgerBox in Seattle. She really likes Ho Ho's.
Have a nice day!

Your Ulty team should be sponsored by Ulta. Amirite?

They recognized many disc sports, including disc golf, which is actually growing in popularity more than ultimate. It ain't gonna overtake soccer, but it's a hell of a lot bigger than it was when I started playing.

Stop calling it ultimate, that is as bad as ulty.

We tried calling it Lame-arse Hippy Shindig but it didn't roll off the tongue quite right. The guy who produced The Matrix movies, Joel Silver, was one of the inventors of Ultimate and named the sport. He was a high school student at the time.

And he still probably doesn't get laid.
"Hey ladies, I invented Ulty. Want to see my $50 game check?"

He's a multi-millionaire. I think he's doing just fine.
