Buyout is 2.1 MM. Given that we had threads a few months back about how they were struggling to pay the deposit on stadium renovations for baseball, and the economic climate in Lafayette and Louisiana, I think they hang on at least one more year to drive that number down.
I'm not a fan, just an observer on the outside looking in.

No, but there are rumors that there will be a shakeup at the AD spot which is what everyone wants. They'll probably just promote some shitbird or something.

HH, does this really accomplish anything if Savoie is still there? Most of the Cajun fans I know put Savoie and Farmer as equally culpable for the inability to seize the momentum of the sports programs and RCAF growth between 2011-2015.

Good question. A lot of people are upset with Savoie for being a turd as well. However, I did hear that he stepped up and cleaned up some of the mess Farmer made with the Tigue. so maybe he's turning a corner and firing or reassigning Farmer would be a good start

Not a fan, although I do hear a lot of the Ragin Cajuns talk on the radio. The comments he made following the locker room video will not help him. At 4-6, they have to win out (won't happen), and if the rumors of Scott Farmer being reassigned are true, the new AD isn't keeping a million dollar coach that is, at best, 9-15 in the last 2 years. Especially one that makes controversial comments.

He should have stopped when he apologized and said they would handle it internally. Calling out fans/ booster over something potentially so divisive was beyond moronic.
