LINK

Is this a legitimate source? There were really only 142 people at the game yesterday? This is a rivalry game?

Wouldn't be surprised if that was the number of butts in the seats. They had a lot of people standing in the concourse area but hardly anyone in the stands. Torrential downpour and ULM is atrocious.

This. They usually get 40,000 people for that game, but 4in of rain in 50 degree weather will do that to an outdoor sporting event.

They never get 40,000. They usually get like 20-25,000 with half of it driving in from Lafayette

As opposed to the juggernaut that is ULL.

Yeah, and that was a game between two top 10 teams. These are 2 sunbelt teams.

You said the weather was to blame. Now it's the matchup. Goals moving all day

Well, OU averages around 80,000 people at their games, OK St around 60,000. If a couple teams were to stumble in their conference title games (which this was a defacto Big 12 Title Game), the winner could be a dark horse playoff team. The Great Plains region is more used to this kind of weather.

Neither ULL nor ULM average 30,000 people at their games. Nothing was on the line other than pride, and that only gets you so far when it's raining like that and the teams are that shitty. The students have their finals this week. Let's be honest, if LSU were playing in that weather, there's only be 20,000 people there MAX unless they were playing Alabama. ULM is not Alabama.
