I actually agree with you, I thought it looked very rigged as well.
I think Rousey taking a bunch of time off for movie roles played a factor into the UFC putting a different female into the spotlight in her absence.
Then the Rousey rematch down the road will draw incredible ratings regardless.
Now watch as this new chick goes on to win and dominate everyone else up until the rematch.

This isn't really anything new and it's highly unlikely that it's scripted. The UFC hype machine gets behind whoever it may be making them seem unbeatable (Rousey, Velasquez, Barao) only for them to run into someone who's a terrible matchup for them and get completely owned.
There is no perfect fighter and even the best have holes in their game that can be exploited.

Nobody throws a fight by letting their head get kicked in. If so it would be for a large and discoverable sum of money.
She also is not good enough of an actress to take the sniper shot fall she took after the kick. Her "off switch" had been thrown.
Finally Rousey has a worthy trilogy fight. UFC is jizzing themselves right now at that prospect.

I am just glad they cant compare her accomplishments to respectable sports accomplishments anymore. She was and is a fraud. The whole UFC needs to be treated like WWE and make its way off main stream sports shows.

It is a good thing for UFC, Ronda was probably close to retirement out of boredom. Now she has something to stay and fight for.
I am not gonna lie I am excited about that. These white chick MMA matchups are so much more exciting than the dude matchups. The dudes have too much skill, and roll around on the ground too much.
