If Aldo wins convincingly does he retire or does he move up to Lightweight?

McGoober better hope for some ring rust. He may consider purchasing some big boy pants after this fight.

His leg kicks will be brutal against McGoober's chicken legs.

I honestly think the two best middleweights could be on the middle of this card.

Yoel Romero vs. Jacare Souza I'm just as pumped about as any.

I think Aldo will win the fight (if the Aldo we see in the ring is the same one we have seen in recent years).

The Brazilian fighters have really struggled since real drug testing has been implemented. I have my suspicions that Aldo has been a benefactor of less than perfect drug testing in the past.

For that reason, this is a hard match to predict. The Aldo we have seen is better than McGregor. Will we see the same Aldo?

I think Luke gives it a go, but comes up short via decision.

Just throwing this out there... NONE of the top middleweights on this card have fought since the drug testing change. I don't see how you can accurately even pick these fights anymore until the weigh ins or until another couple of years have passed and we get a better feel of who each of these guys are now that they are randomly tested. Brazilians especially. The intrigue is high on this one for me. I have no idea what will shake out.

Joel Romero and Jacare are usually shredded so it will be interesting to see them come fight night.

I completely agree. Romero is old as dirt also. I just can't believe he performs at this level with that physique at that age without it.

Rockhold beat Jacare; and Romero pulled a victory out of his arse to beat Kennedy.. how are they better than Rockhold & Weidman lol

Many people believe that Jacare has improved enough since their fight in 2012 to wonder how the rematch would go.

Jacare/Kennedy isn't a barometer of anything. We never got to see what Kennedy could do after that fight because he's been absent.

Although Kennedy lost to Rockhold it again would be up for debate as to how the rematch might go. Rockhold had a much more difficult time against those guys than he did against the UFC's crop of middleweights.

Kennedy's last fight was Romero. Kennedy/Jacare was 5 years ago.

And Romero should have been DQ'd for failing to answer the bell. If you watch the fight, he was definitely better than Kennedy, but TK caught him and almost finished him before the round. Then Romero took an extra 20 seconds after the bell.
