No point in posting the line-up, as the whole card is garbage.

Give me the "The Celtic Tiger"... Tired of the often injured Aldo.

McGregor! He's currently my favorite athlete across the board. I'm not a crazed UFC fan to say the least but the Celt is a bad mfer in the ring and larger than life outside of it.

Without the rib injury I'd take Aldo. With the injury I'm not so sure. You know Conor will be attacking it.

No fricking way that Aldo fights. The fact that he hasn't come out and said shite only confirms it.
But I mean, who can blame him? I wouldn't want to fight Conor.

I hate the uniformity of the Reebok 'kits'. I also hate calling them kits like its pussy arse soccer.

Removing the individuality from the fighters could be disastrous for a sport that ebbs and flows based on draw of personalities and likeability of their fighters.

The biggest thing the UFC has had in years McGregor captivated people by showing his personality and his individualism. Putting a governor on that can't be good for business.

I see that they're making the uniforms to resemble an Olympic uniform with country flags and a traditional sport feel w/ fighter names. There's some positives to that but I don't think it outweighs an open market where fighters can build their own brands off their names and fighting accomplishments and style.

Not in the least.

Glad to see Quick Swick back. Wish he could stay healthy.

The worst thing that could come from this would be a unionized crew of fighters and a strike.

For a year long sport filled with guys that already have other jobs to fill the gaps, all it would take is some of the top tier guys getting into the strike to turn the momentum against the UFC.

UFC should be doing all it can to prevent something like this from happening, taking away a fighters ability to make extra money for fighting is just all kinds of stupid regardless of how much money rebook paid them.

Yep. From the UFC's perspective they've held all the leverage. MMA fighters need a union. Rogan seems to be pushing for Bellator to break Viacom's bank to raise the purses and contracts in the UFC.

It's really expensive to properly train 100% and be committed to the fight game. If you're only getting $8k + max of $2500 for your first 5 UFC fights. 5 fights will take up the better part of 2 years if you have zero injuries. It'll typically take a new fighter 3+ years to get through those first 5 fights, assuming there's one injury layoff. Making maybe $20k a year for 3-; years isn't going to appeal to many guys that have talent and potential.

Apparently the NAC has requested records on Aldo's rib after saying they'd just do the questionnaire before the fight. Public pressure + Pacquiao's sandy vagina are in play.
