It's really expensive to properly train 100% and be committed to the fight game. If you're only getting $8k + max of $2500 for your first 5 UFC fights. 5 fights will take up the better part of 2 years if you have zero injuries. It'll typically take a new fighter 3+ years to get through those first 5 fights, assuming there's one injury layoff. Making maybe $20k a year for 3-; years isn't going to appeal to many guys that have talent and potential.

Does the UFC even insure those guys? If not, 1 injury could cost them more than they make.

If the fight happens, I'm calling Aldo by TKO in the 3rd.

It will be interesting to see if it go past the 3rd. Aldo's history of cardio, injured rib can't be good. Saying that, McGregor has only one fight go the distance and that was 3 rounds.

You never know how someone will react to 5 rounds until you've seen them in 5 rounds. Most everyone trains right. Gas tank is a talent in itself

McGregor is lucky. Aldo would have chopped him down like a tree.

Mendes might wrestle frick McGregor back to the land of potatoes.

There's no way to know that.

Aldo pussied out just as I predicted he would when the fight was first announced.

Got to love the Celtic one -

“I just feel he was beaten mentally before I and the chance to beat him physically. I felt through the (UFC 189) ‘World Tour,’ he was looking for his way out and thankfully for him, his coach, his team, they have found their way out.”

Ever had a bruised rib? You can barely breath normally much less fighting. I'm sure you gave Jared Allen a few bruised ribs

eh, when there's as much at stake and as much money that's been pumped into your fight to promote it, you tough that out. He'd have had 3 weeks to heal. He's a colossal vagine.

Gonna suck for the UFC when Mendes wrestlefricks McGregor and they end up with Aldo/Mendes III which no one wants to see.
