Erik Koch has been forced out of a UFC 153 featherweight championship matchup with Jose Aldo. Frankie Edgar steps in to take his place. Per mmajunkie.com.

My thoughts exactly. Jose is no easy fight but Edgar will by far be the best fighter he's ever faced. Can not wait for this fight.

Aldo better get in shape for this one. If Frankie can avoid an early KO, I think he wins easily. He does face the distinct possibility of getting robbed in Brazil if it goes to a decision.

Glad Edgar stepped in, this is a fight we've all be wanting for awhile.
I bet Edgar could make 135 as well.

Edgar never got screwed once.

And finally an injury works out for the better. 153 is gonna be a really decent card......can't wait to see Glover retire Rampage

Either that, or he's a BJ Penn fan.

Aldo needs to use those powerful leg kicks early to slow Edgar down. Bendo had early success with it, but for some reason stopped.

If Aldo beats Edgar. I would like to see Aldo move up and fight Pettis/Maynard/Diaz/Henderson

I'm just glad to see Aldo actually get some real competition. I mean who has he really fought that was worth a damn besides Chad Mendez? I'm really not sure who wins this fight but this is by no means an easy fight for either fighter.
