That is dumb. Are they going to delete him from the Media Guide too?

A little premature.

And unnecessary too IMO even if he's convicted (though I'd understand why they'd do it).

Agree, although I wouldn't have an issue with it if he were convicted, though.

i think we can all assume given the mountain of "circumstantial" evidence the state has, that he most likely is.

Which is completely reasonable. Doing it now, however, seems a bit absurd.

agreed. it's not like you can erase the fact that he was an all-american that went to your school.

I have to say, while the evidence in this case seems overwhelming the guy has not been convicted yet. I think it is best to actually let the legal process play out before making moves such as this...even if he is a thug POS

they haven't found the gun yet, right? lots of circumstantial evidence with conflicting reports...gonna be hard to put the guy in jail on anything major without the gun

Agreed. This is 1984 Memory Hole nonsense. The guy went to UF, and if convicted will be a guy that went to UF and committed murder. Removing the brick doesn't make that not have happened.

For the non-book readers...

I think Aaron Hernandez is guilty but it's stupid that all these institutions are treating him as guilty before a jury even hears his case. Supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. What happens if the prosecutor has a bunch of holes in his case or by some ungodly reason, he's found innocent?

Guilty or not, his brick is front and center walking up to the trophy room. Probably not the last thing you want recruits and their parents seeing before they enter the building, especially given the recent image problem we have.
