Nah, he was in the running though.

Agreed. Now we have to pull for Eric Reid... he probably had a better shot than HB anyway.

not that uncommon actually. Deuce sprinted off the field when he blew out his knee.

I realize that it is common to be able to walk somewhat normally after an ACL tear, but when I tore my ACL, I definitely wasnt thinking about trying to jog afterwards. I know I am not an NFL player, but his injury looked really really painful and traumatic. I just cut wrong, and mine tore.

Didn't he strip the ball on the play he was injured?

No, returning the free kick after a safety.

The fact the he actually jogged a few steps on his leg afterwards is crazy. The guy is a true hard-arse.

Basically a balancing act at that point. Once his leg shifted balance to the torn side, I'm guessing it folded again dropping him to the ground.

Sucks.

Sucks. Was 2nd in tackles for the team. Hate that for him.

When I tore my ACL I drove a stick shift car home. Worst drive of my life.

I wonder if he'll opt for repair with synthetic ligaments

Not his biggest fan, but that is just awful to hear.

It seemed like he had really adjusted his focus back to being a disciplined person, and not just a football player.

Hopefully he can keep that laser beam focus through rehab.
