And they're not done. They're putting it all on GB this week.

Makes me feel like a sissy for thinking about hedging my Steelers SB bet.

I suppose the safest way to avoid paying taxes on your gambling winnings is to keep betting with your winnings.

I think I would stop while I was ahead. I would have put it on GB over the cowboys, but not Atlanta. Two hot teams colliding...I would be nervous about this one.

Seems pretty silly to not hedge.

I don't know what your Steelers bet is, so not that one.

Well, that's one way to hit rock bottom in less than a week.

There's nothing to "hedge", it's not a live bet. They cashed out and bet it all.
I'd have at least removed my initial bet (300) back for sure at some point in the streak. Probably before the Lions game.

I got 10/1 on steelers. But there's no need for those guys to hedge. They have the money in their hands. They're just straight up gambling. unlike those guys, I haven't won anything yet so that's why I brought up hedging to guarantee a profit.

I get what you're saying. But my point is, if your plan is to just keep letting it ride, you're at a point now where you should hedge to make money.

Maybe these guys have tons of money and an extra $10k or whatever just really isn't worth it.

They are going for glory and the story. Just like when you're banging a Victory Secret model, it's too late to pull out now.
