The two schools have never played before. Tulane has not beaten a Big 10 school (excluding Rutgers) in a long time. This will probably not end well for the Green Wave but a lot can happen in 2 years.

I think Tulane will get better with their new coach.

This is a pay day to get trounced by tOSU though, which they will. Destroyed.

But Tulane athletics needs the money.

No question about that. Apparently the fee is north of $1.5MM, so hopefully they can plow that back into the program. Tulane doesn't need to beat Ohio State, they just need to beat UConn, Houston, etc.

curious to how long? My grandfather took me to see Tulane beat Maryland, that was in the early 80s.

Your best hope is that OSU will have to forfeit the game based on some NCAA violation.

The last wins:

Rutgers in 2010
Maryland in 1981
Illinois 1970
Northwestern 1956

Tulane has never beaten or played the others.

Calling it now.. Wave Roll. Somehow play's LSU the next week and gets tossed 45-3 to assert the SEC's excellence once again.

I say congrats to Tulane for scheduling this game. If LSU had the opportunity to schedule the game, it would have opted out unless the game was against tWesternOSU or tSouthernOSU or tNorthwesternOSU....you get my drift

OSU will be a 42.5 point favorite and lead Tulane 10-3 at halftime, then struggle to win the game 24-6. This after holding a 17-6 lead with 4:00 to go and intercepting the Tulane QB for a 42 yard pick 6.

Would not surprise me if Ohio State offered a 2 for 1 with Tulane hosting at the dome.

It was just a one game deal ... Tulane will soon announce a multi game series with A&M being played in the dome ..

Tulane will be good by then. Not beat OSU good, but it won't be 56-0.
