There is strong sentiment out there against Sidwell. I always liked the guy and thought he would be a good fit but from what I've been hearing a lot of people didn't like him.

Can Sandy Barbour come back?

I've seen that as well, not really sure what the reason for it is

Wickstrom is a strong possibility. ULM just hired the AD from Millsaps as "assistant to the President" and Wickstrom's contract is up at the end of June. Coincidence? I think not.

Danny White from Buffalo seemed like a perfect fit but I see he just left for UCF.

@ScottDKushner: I have been told definitively that #Tulane is interviewing more than just those 5 candidates, but haven't been able to place them yet.

Tulane's not willing to get their hands dirty like Baylor so this dude would be pointless.

They're the same thing to me so don't get up in arms.

What's really funny is the Baylor AD was once an associate AD at Tulane. Talked to him before the first game this year, he's come a long way.
Amazing what investing in facilities and playing the recruiting game the way the big boys do can accomplish.

Watch them steal his slogan for Tulane.

Been lurking Toolame boards.
1. USF doesn't have football
2. He worked for Dickson for 2 years a decade ago.
3. Toolame fans are idiots and make the rant look sane.

This was posted on one of the Tulane boards. Of course Tulane is not interviewing Arnie.

Tulane turned down Arnie Fielkow,
Damn. wonder why. He'd be a really good fit there.

Yea, they're going nuts about Fielkow not getting an interview right now
Posted on 11/19/15 at 2:50 pm to D011ahbi11
Fielkow at least deserves an interview given his resume.

The Fielkow deal smells to high heaven so I think their freakout is justified, but they are nuts about other issues.

That would be confusing. Going from one University of Louisiana to the other.
