The only thing I can think is they let him talk as an authority on horrible QB play because he was a horrible QB.

I'm a Broncos fan. And no, I'm not mad. I was pissed when we drafted Tebow to start with. But Dilfer does bash everybody.

No one gets a bigger pass for poor quarterback play in the public eye than tebow. The love affair among everyday joes is terribly amazing. I'm glad people in the media are calling him out. 4-10 and all the talk today is about tebow.

so the frick what that he wasn't a good qb. He's still one of the best analysts on tv, he still spent 10+ years in the NFL. You think maybe he knows a thing or 2 about the position?
