Still has one of the best quotes about, in the last 30 years of sports:

"Two thirds of the Earth's surface is covered by water; the other third is covered by Torii Hunter."

Torii Hunter, Jacque Jones, and Matt Lawton were known as the "Soul Patrol."

My guess is he fell victim to the same temptations that trouble thousands of professional athletes over time who live the constant traveling lifestyle. He likely had unprotected sex with several women over the years who were interested in him for his fame and wealth.

His wife enjoys the lifestyle that comes with being married to a millionaire, so she willingly overlooks his transgressions of infidelity.

Epitome of a borderline Hall of Faamer. I would vote for him. In addition to the numbers and gold gloves, he has been a very positive influence in the club house and a fan favorite everywhere he played.

Formerly used to apply to Gary Maddox, back in the 70's.

I love when he told off that reporter about him not supporting gay marriage
Heck of a ball player as well, I miss watching him in the old twins dome

One of my favorites

That All-Star game where he robbed Barry Bonds of the HR was just sick.

I'd be very surprised if he even came close. If so, Andruw Jones should cruise in.

Again you laugh, dismiss and throw out ad hominem attacks, while offering nothing to support your position.

Because it's you, I just can't. I got tired of wasting my time with you earlier this season when I realized you had zero baseball knowledge and were wrong on pretty much everything. Them Dodgers and Jays though!
