Siap. Although I do not agree with Tori's stance on homosexuality, WTF does it have to do with him playing for the twins? I am so sick of this. But the presser does get hilariously awkward.

Is any opinion on something considered "Morals". Did people that hated a race get to call those "morals". If either side of a coin is a moral how does the word immoral exist? Is it relative to you? Or are only people who dont care to have an opinion on a subject immoral?

I hate the haughty tone that Gawker/Deadspin used to "cover" this (or that they use to cover anything like this)...

... But you're equally bad referring to his views as "morals".

Good for that reporter. These press conferences are nothing more than sucking some guy off for signing with their team. I wish all press conferences for player signings were nothing but questions about players idiotic views and behaviors

Good for Hunter for speaking his mind and not caving to pressure to retract his statements.

I disagree with his stance but respect his right to speak it.

This country is way to quick to ostracize for the "grievance du jour"

I'm also fine with him saying whatever he feels like saying. But don't get mad when someone asks you about your questionable stances

It doesn't make you a hater not a bigot if you prefer not to be around something you disagree with. That's his preference. I would prefer not to be around homosexuals but if I was I would not treat them any differently. People pull the hate card too easily.

here's the problem you cant say this

quote:

Dr. King said that men should be judged by the content of their character. Today we too often prejudge political candidates by their party label. I'm asking you to consider Asa for his actions.

then right after say this is why we should vote for this candidate.

quote:

As a lawyer, Asa fought for more majority African-American districts in the state legislature. Asa is committed to the principles we hold dear, like a strong faith in God, equal justice for all, and keeping marriage between one man and one woman

Count the contradictions

Good. frick liberals. They love free speech until your opinion is different than theirs, then you're a bigot

no he's a bigot because the definition of bigot is

a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

Which he is openly saying he is

Will you grant the same freedom of speech to those players who walked out with their hands up in support of Michael Brown? Free speech works both ways.

Funny if Torrii Hunter came out 100% in support of gay marriage, the right would tell him to shut up and the left would be sporting his freedom of speech. Seems like people only support free speech is when they hear what they want. Yes on both sides of each issue

Deadspin is occupied by egotistical assholes who think they're the end all be all in reporting. They go out of their way to report shite like this, when in reality, no one really gives a frick. It makes them feel good, though.

Yeah why not? They were granted free speech.

Well then the people who are intolerant of the opinions of "bigots" are also bigots by definition
