don't know if I agree with all the names, but only because I disagree with Manning, he was great at Tennessee, and I really have no recollection of the others college careers
Dismissing guys because they were great or even better pros is a lazy argument. It's like we forget why they were drafted so high. Bruce Smith was a 2 time all American Outland trophy winner and had 22 sacks in one season. The guy who may be overrated because of his pro career is Jerry Rice. His stats are eye popping but it was the SWAC and others had great stats at lower levels that don't get mentioned.

As mentioned in another thread, Mike Rozier and Patrick Willis should be in the Top 50.

PITT and UT players comprise 4 of the top 10.

No Manziel list is a joke.
Someone who went 31td/40int is on there.
Comical

Reggie bush is the best college football player I've ever seen in my 27 years.
im 35, and bush is easily the best non-qb college football player i've seen. tough to measure him against qb's like VY and cam, when the qb position impacts the game so much more than a running back.
overall, the list is pretty good. although i think charles woodson is too high.
also, i dont think leinart and wuerffel should be so low, while tebow is 6. there really isnt much difference between them, with the exception of tebow's bowling ball running ability; leinart and wuerffel were much better pocket passers. and no way was peyton manning a better college qb than wuerffel or leinart.

How the frick can you leave off a two time Heisman runner up (clearly should have won over Ohio States QB can't even remember his name) who was only one of three SEC players to rush for 1,000+ yards in his freshman, sophomore, and junior season. The first wildcat QB who threw for 7 TD/1 INT over his career. He got a TD in 4 different ways (kick return, rush, passing, receiving). In his final SEC game he helped Arkansas beat the national champs by running for over 200 yards with 3 rushing TD's and one passing TD. He went 3/6 passing in that game!
Jeezus.
Jeezus.

Not including Billy Cannon or Tommy Casanova is a little weak.

At Stanford, John Elway led the nation in TD passes his senior year, won Pac-10 Player of the Year twice, graduated with nearly every Stanford and conference passing record, 1982 consensus all-American, 2nd in Heisman voting, and passed for over 200 yards in 30 of his 42 games and is a member of the College Football HOF. Those accomplishments merit his inclusion on the list.

Why should Fournette not be on this list????
Posted on 6/20/17 at 11:46 am to dukke v
Scam Newton's on the list?! He only played one year of college football and this list consists of players with actual college careers, Manziel even compiled similar numbers over his two years per and he's not included! Travesty fraud. Also, Fournette's accomplishments could merit inclusion but so do Kevin Faulk and Charles Alexander's. Charles Alexander was twice a consensus all-American and SEC Player of the Year, 3rd all-time LSU rusher. Faulk was SEC Freshman of the Year, 3x first team all-SEC, consensus all-American and LSU's all-time leading rusher by a factor of 507 yards and yet he's excluded from the list.

Didn't derrick Thomas go to Bama???? Well there is your reason for him posting what he posted....

No PJ, sorry but Fournette does not belong on this last. LSU players I'd consider: Mathieu, Dorsey, Faulk.
