I see you allow the media to think for you.

And clutch doesn't exist.

Eli has led the league in interceptions multiple times. He has 3 seasons of 20+ int, he has more damn interceptions than touchdowns this year.

His td:int ratio is a less than awesome 228:170 over 10 seasons.

Romo is 208:101 over 8 seasons and has never thrown more than 19 interceptions.

This view that Romo throws interceptions all the time is way off.

Want to talk about clutch? His 4th quarter passer rating is 105,
His QB rating is higher when he is playing from behind.
LINK

Eli has a fricking 48 passer rating in the 4th quarter. I get the Super Bowls, that is fine, but please, he's not a better quarterback than Romo.

It is a team sport, it takes a good front office and a good overall team to win the Super Bowl. Not just a good QB, or else Brees, Rodgers, and Peyton would all have multiple and Marino would have had 5

Let him win a playoff game, then maybe top 10.

The only newsworthy part about the ranking is that it's Tom Jackson. He hates the cowboys as much as joe theisman does.

Agree. Easily. The numbers support it.

For you "clutch" believers who claim Romo isn't "clutch", then what happened two days ago?

And how do you reconcile your opinion with the # of comeback wins he has?

The problem with the Cult of Clutch is that they have very selective memory and focus on the smallest possible sample sizes.

They are the guys who, after seeing a coin flip to heads three consecutive times, will say that the coin is weighted to favor heads. However, they ignore the other 997 tosses, which result in ~500 heads and ~500 tails.

Like i said in the thread yesterday, when you hear people start dropping the media clutch line it lets you know to never listen to their opinion. Go look at Peejs post history you will see he said Lebron wasnt clutch and would never win because he didnt have "it".

I saw a crazed, old woman standing in her yard letting a dog hump her leg. She had more of the "winner's pride" the Romo is missing so dearly.

You seriously want to talk about pride? Romo has had the entire fail that is the cowboys on his back for the last three years. The fact that he has managed to put up the numbers he has is unreal. Not to mention he finished a game last season with broken ribs, which is downright remarkable and dangerous. Some of y'all would jump off a bridge is espn said to
