Give him a clean pocket and he's golden.

The steep decline I think many are expecting will only come if he gets injured. He's not just gonna wake up one day and all of a sudden not be able to throw.

The game at that level is mostly mental anyways, and he's the best pre snap in the NFL

The decline often comes very suddenly and sharply

He's making throws to wide open WR's with minimal pressure.

Peyton had a severe neck injury.

Brady gets too good protection to get seriously injured like that.

It's masterful. He's great and his coaching staff have pretty much made it where he stands back there and takes minimal hits and throws to wide open receivers all day, barring injury it's hard to not see this lasting quite a while longer the way it is now

Him and Brees will go neck to neck for career TD passes and passing yards the next 3-4 years

History shows the decline for QBs isn't gradual. When it happens, they fall off a fricking cliff.

See Brett Favre in 2010, went from MVP caliber to absolute garbage in 9 months. Troy Aikman in the late-90s is another classic example. Manning last year was terrible after being incredible 2012-2014 in Denver.

If they're lucky the retire before it happens.

That's not what happened. He was effective until it got cold. That's where he signs first started. It took two years after that before his arm became a ham

Peyton set NFL records after that. His decline came after and it was a sharp one.

You mean when he had 2 extremely significant injuries in back to back seasons.

Favre and Brady aren't similar. Favre didn't give up on plays and took hits.

Brady gets rid of the ball instantly.

You're acting like it wasn't a complex injury

Not to mention he couldn't stay healthy his last season and the one before that. He had constant ailments to his lower body that he relied on more and more due to the neck injury.

His decline in arm strength was obvious from day 1 after his surgery. He was able to get by with his head. He wasn't able to get by once his arm strength was completely thrown away with the quad and foot injuries

I think he will retire before he starts to decline. I think he rides off and hands the keys over to Jimmy next year, what the duck else is there to do to prove?
