With those last 5 years I can't imagine why anyone would want to keep a coach that won 8 games in his first year.
Obviously if he follows the Erickson plan it will look like a mistake, but if he wins 8+ and leaves for Texas I wouldn't care. A lot easier to find a decent coach to take over a team posting back to back 8 win seasons, than it is to find one to take over a team that hadn't had a winning record in 4 years.
He's serving his purpose, I don't understand the disdain unless you're a Pitt fan.

Someone will hire him. I figure there's still time for him to pump up his resume by switching jobs 2-3 more times before Mack Brown gets canned.

Sure, but not Texas. I'd have to imagine there are 50 guys Tejas would hire before Todd Graham.

Feel what way? That Texas wouldn't hire him? Absolutely. I don't think he is that great of a coach, and he is an arse.
