Hopefully, his streak dies like Bochy's.

Can't believe why the Red Sox fired him.... I guess change of scenery helps a lot of ppl tho but this dude helped turn the Indians around quick

It was time for a change for both the Red Sox and Tito. He was a great manager who won two WS with the Red Sox, but towards the end he wasn't the same and seemed like he needed a break and a new scene. He lost control of the clubhouse. The very next year Boston won the WS with a different manager so it worked out for both parties.

Very true it worked out great for both sides, I just want my cubbies to mess up that sterling World Series record up a bit so hopefully it doesn't work out too great for both sides

That's insane
It's honestly crazier than that. I'd say it's plain impossible, but.....here we are.

Aside from that whole Bobby Valentine thing it worked fine I would think the heat is turning up a bit on Farrell now

it was extremely stupid to fire him over the chicken and beer stuff. Yea we did win a world series a few years later but since then we haven't been nearly as good. We have been really good and then horrid under ferrel.
ill take tito any day of the week.

His book "The Red Sox Years" is a pretty awesome read if you're into sports biographies at all. He is the ultimate players coach. Literally one of the guys.

I don't follow baseball but did I hear Buck correctly last night, they've only lost 1 post season game this year?

Yes, the Indians are 8-1 in the post season.

A thread like this was made about Bochy, too.
