What a joke. He wasn't even drafted out of high school and hasn't played in 12 years and still thinks he can make it to the major leagues. His only shot at pro baseball is a minor league team trying to sell tickets and merchandise

Well he has 2/3 of MLB organizations coming watch him tryout so I'd say that's a little different than you struggling to make JV when you were 14.
I don't like Tebow, but if teams are giving him a chance why the hell wouldn't he give it a go.

He quit to focus on football after his jr year.. a year in which he was all state batting nearly .500.
While its highly unlikely that he will make the majors, the fact that people shite on him is ridiculous. Hes a hell of an athlete that isnt doing this for any other reason than personal desire..

He'll make it in the minors for the same reason he didn't make it in the nfl- his popularity exceeds his talent.

Yeah, I don't understand why Tebow isn't trying independent ball. There would be a lot less backlash because people would understand that he's just trying to have fun and get his competitive juices flowing again plus he wouldn't be clogging up a roster spot that could be filled by a legitimate baseball player.
