My pool of 14 was down to 2. My opponent had Cincy today. Does he advance since the team didn't lose? or lose cause the team didn't win?

My league says a tie allows you to advance. Kinda bs but probably just feel this way since I'm on the other side ha

In my leauge we allow you to advance but you must pick 2 games next week.
