I think Seattle is the only sure win in week 1, with KC and Arizona behind them, although i wouldn't pick the Cardinals at home over even the Bradyless Patriots with confidence.

For the life of me I cannot remember the team that has screwed almost half of the participants the past 2 years.

Bears at Houston is a pretty safe one.
For one, it's at home for the Texans. Two, they have been top 5 in rushing attempts the past two seasons and just added Lamar Miller to the backfield. Three, the Bears are terrible vs the run. Four, the Bears still have Jay Cutler as their QB. Five, Cutler has to face a top 5 NFL defense that may or may not have JJ Watt back.

Rams beating Seattle last year in week 1
Miami beating New England the year before
Jake Locker and the Titans beating the Steelers the year before that
Saints losing at home to rookie RG3, then Arizona winning at New Egland the next week in 2012.

It's a tough call for Week 1 as it usually is. I'm going with Philly . I see a few in this thread saying the Colts. I think that's playing with fire. Luck just might get broke in half in any given game this year. Terrible O line and not much else to be excited about on that team either. AFC South , I think , is wide open this year. Jags seem to be the favorite , but they're the Jags , Titans could be very good if they can manage to find a cover guy or 2 on the waiver wire , Texans have a great defense and a great WR/RB random but questions on the online and at QB. I think the Colts will be last in the division.
I am a Titans fan so take this post for what its worth. I think the clear pick this week is Seattle but hate to use them so early.

The Lions offense is underated even without Calvin Johnson. They could easily go into Indy and win. Like you said, I don't trust the Colts offensive line myself and they could struggle to score if they become 1 dimensional again.
