Thoughts on Astros games this weekend

My family and I have been having tickets to Sunday's game for about a month. I'm glad they're playing back at home this weekend but I'm feeling guilty even thinking about driving in from Lafayette to a city that's gone through so much for my own entertainment. Just looking for some general feedback. Been looking forward to taking my boys to their first game but hate that it's under these terrible conditions. I'm thinking it may be better to donate the tickets and wait til next year.

I mean... I get what you are saying. But you are pumping money into their economy which they probably desperately need.

Same. Am going to try for a refund from stubhub. Maybe resell if I can
If nothing else maybe I can email it to one of the DAT posters

How bout you go to the game and also volunteer at the convention center or bring some supplies there? Teach your kids about people helping people

Problem is hotels. Unless your driving there and back to Laffy the same day

Go! And spend some money man! That's some of the best things we can do.
Also maybe take the chance to have you and your kids to volunteer at a shelter or food bank! Will open their eyes to how lucky they likely have it and may even inspire them in their lives!

Downvotes coming but tickets are selling for more than before. Lots of interest in a game that had little interest a month ago. I am probably selling mine at uocharge

Yeah man come in and spend some money. The city is glad to have you. I am probably going to go as well.

Is I-10 open again? Heard it was closed in a few areas east of Houston.

Surely by Sunday it'll be open again no?

I had tickets for the LSU game Saturday and the Astros Sunday. Didn't think they would play this weekend and ended up getting tickets and hotel rooms in NOLA. Guess I'm out of luck.

The stros should play in Nola until Houston is back on it's feet... How awesome would it be to have an MLB game at Zephyr Field (F that babycakes shite)
