Too banged up, not enough time to prep. These type games are the result.

Good riddance

Unfortunately the Raiders and Chiefs, a key big time divisional game that could decide the AFC West, is next weeks Thursday night game.

Chiefs coming off what will be a tough game at Atlanta and the Raiders host Buffalo.

shite is retarded but when it's a huge inner division game it's even worse. Should be SNF or MNF.

That was a normal game for the Vikings. Plus, both teams had a week off.

I forgot the game was on until another game I was watching was over. I'm good with NFL on Sunday and Monday.

You do realize that this is the case for both teams for darn near every single Thursday game correct?

Yep... could also be a reason MNF is so watered down this year... there's been some great matchups that just turned into shitty Thursday night football games

The point is the product is inferior.

Bodies need longer to heal than 3 games in 12 days. Players hate it, & stats bear out that quality suffers

NFL eliminating Thursday games

As of 3 days ago, NFL released presser that they almost certainly are going to get rid of them

Was on CBS sports & several other outlets

quote:

After 10 years of "Thursday Night Football," the NFL might finally be ready to call it quits. According to Pro Football Talk, the NFL is mulling the possibility of eliminating "Thursday Night Football," which would be a drastic move after sticking with it for more than a decade. If the NFL isn't ready to get rid of Thursday night games, PFT added that there's also a chance that the league will limit the number of games in the near future.

quote:

Of course, it's unlikely that anything would happen before the end of the 2017 season. In February 2016, both CBS and NBC signed up for two seasons of Thursday night games in a contract that expires at the end of 2017. After that deal runs out, the NFL could conceivably do whatever it wants with Thursday night games, including the possibility of eliminating them altogether.
