A hell of a lot more than anyone on this board, I would imagine.

I honestly looked up the other two but could not find any charitable donations related to their kneeling during games.

Fair enough, I just don't see someone seeing M. Lynch kneel or sit for the national anthem and say wow I'm inspired to straighten up and do right and make my community better.

Ok, so he wanted attention, ya he got it, but how has that made a difference? Other than put him on unemployment line

I don't care that they are sitting for the anthem. It is only a song.

However, the reason they are sitting is one of the biggest lies today; the notion that African Americans are somehow oppressed.

Sure he's gotten attention, but has it helped his cause, whatever that is? People get attention for things all the time but that doesn't necessarily make it a good thing. Certainly hasn't helped him find a job, but maybe he just wants to be a martyr

I'm sure that was exactly his intention when he kneeled for the first time, to get blackballed out Playing a game he made millions doing.

Also, he has hurt his cause because he will not have the millions to donate to these charity's previously mentioned.

But he got that attention

maybe they are sitting because one of their comrades is being fined 38% of his yearly income for something a court of law can't prove.

Serious question: which side on this issue is getting suckered into falling for the clickbait?

They stop getting attention when you stop being trolled. You're the demand for the supply. It's your fault.

I wish they were doing this in protest against playing the national anthem at sporting events.

They never get enough attention, it's the only reason.

I don't think they even know. It's street cred I guess. This is why what Kaepernick chose to do and the manner in which he chose to do it has such dire ramifications.

You end up having folks trying to copy it with no idea why are what they are doing and making stupid fashionable.

There you go. Ten years ago no one paid any attention to Confederate statues and monuments. Now, people pretend to be outraged by their existence. Why? Because it is fashionable.

I would never do it but, it's really none of my business how others approach it. That's just the way I feel about it.
