Boomshockalocka didn't have faith that we could beat out Golden State. LINK

The remaining schedules are:

Houston: @PHX, @LAL
Golden State: SA, @POR

If Houston wins tomorrow, and the Spurs take care of the Warriors, the Rockets clinch the 6-seed, holding the tie-breaker.

The Spurs have always had Houston's number except for a couple of glorious nights ( Harden and T-Mac). I would much rather play Denver in the playoffs, even though they have run all over us this year. With Gallinari out, I think they are a bit more beatable.

Houston is a dangerous team IMO

Edit: although my sleeper pick was Denver until Gallinari went down. Now Faried sprained his ankle...

Harden is a one-man wrecking crew.

I agree. They actually remind me of the Thunder a few years ago. Everyone thinks we need another big piece. I think this current team can mature into a real contender. Harden is a superstar and will probably be first team all-NBA next year with Kobe coming off his injury. Lin has been much better lately, understanding his role. Parsons is a big-time player, and Asik is one of the best centers in the league. I haven't even mentioned Donatas Montiejunas yet.

What are the tiebreakers between Houston, Golden State, and LA (they are only two back)?

I feel pretty good about our chances to clinch this thing tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to a series with Denver.

Houston took 3/4 against GS; LA isn't going to be a factor.

I hate Parsons. He always plays out of his mind against New York

Frick CSNHouston. My taxes paid for their venues and now I can't even watch them play. Double rods for Matt Hutchins.
p.s. 6 seed you say?

We match up worse with Denver than any other team in the West. Oh well, hopefully we can make it a series.

The first tiebreaker is head to head. Houston is 3-1 against Golden State. However, they are only 2-1 against the Lakers. If they managed to choke and lose both games (the second one against the Lakers), it would be 2-2 and tied with LA. The next tiebreaker would be conference record, which the Rockets completely suck at. Lakers would jump us. And that would be typical of the Rockets. I am just so glad we can't choke out of the playoffs.

We're going to be in the playoffs and not playing San Antonio, that's enough for me.

I think we can beat Denver for sure, especially if Faried is banged up. Just glad we'll be playing relevant basketball games again.

Rockets probably have a better shot at taking games against SA or OKC than Denver. They don't match up well with the Nuggets. Got their arse kicked every time they played them this year. That being said, I wish them nothing but success.
