The committee loves them some Navy. Moved up 6 spots last week. Currently at #19, and WMU is at #17.

Problem is, Navy plays two more games vs. Temple for the AAC championship and vs. Army.

WMU only plays one more game vs. Ohio for their MAC championship.

Will the committee screw out the undefeated WMU for Navy to make it to a NY6 bowl by putting them above WMU?

Because frick that shite. But there is precedence this year in the way they haven't moved WMU after a win, week after week after week. Then they had Boise State ahead of them with 1 loss for weeks.

No.

Unless WMU loses, of course.

Looks like they're thinking Navy might if everyone wins out.

WMU also put together a decent non conference schedule.

Oh, they have been trying to keep W.Michigan in the right outside top10 spots.

they have 3 and 4 loss teams ahead of them for christs sake.

They could have easily fixed this situation when they released the rankings last night. Bump WMU to a point where getting passed by Navy is improbable and assume WMU will win. Solve a lot of problems, but CFP hates the MACtion.

When they were forced to take N.Illinois, and they got thumped, the powers that be decided now they will punish the MAC.

There is no way, W.Michigan should be outside the top10.

They push them up a couple spots, slowly. I've noticed it since they broke the top25, they would maybe break 1 spot or stay the same after each win and a shite load of losses in polls.

According to ESPN's metric they have the #11 strength of record. I'm going to be royally pissed if Navy ends up jumping them with two losses.

the committee will do what ever they want, regardless of what should happen.

Did you see who the idiots are on the committee? You have dumb arse cement head coaches on there, shitting on any ounce of credibility.

And we got reports when it started that the Cement Heads were forcing their views on the other voters.

Let's add these cement heads, used to have some one from their office turn in their polls, they didn't even fill them out. Some grad student was doing it for these tards.

WMU will lose the MAC championship. It has happened so many times in recent years and I have no idea why.

2013 Bowling Green def. #19 N. Illinois (12-0)
2012 #19 N. Illinois def. #18 Kent State (11-1)
2010 Miami U def. #24 N. Illinois (10-2)
2008 Buffalo def. #12 Ball State (12-0)

The higher ranked team hasn't won since Ben Roesthlisberger was at Miami U

The committee and human polls have vastly underrated WMU. They're #12 in the Massey Composite. Navy is #25.

it's not by chance, they have done it purposely. Like i said, i've noticed since they broke the top25, they have had to make a slow crawl to the top. While others went 5-7 spots because they play in a p5 conference.

Kind of makes me question why we even have 128 teams in Div 1 CFB if one team can run the table, finish 13-0 and end up in the Meinke Advocare Chili's Baby Back Ribs Special Sauce Bowl.

The committee has already said if WMU wins they're getting the cotton bowl slot.

Now, if they lose then they'll wait til after the army/navy game the next week to fill the slot

I've been wanting CFB to shrink down for a while now. Not just for the sake of the P5, but for everyone else too.

The G5 just doesn't have a realistic chance at the playoffs, regardless of whether they deserve a chance or not. They should have a chance, which is why I think they should break off into their own division for themselves.

128 teams is stupid seeing as how the number of teams that will actually compete for a title vs the number of teams is laughable.

This also opens the route to forcing everyone to play tougher schedules, but the FCS matter would still need to be addressed.

They threw that one non-P5 entry to pacify the mid-majors, but I'm surprised it worked. I do hope we see a team that was as good as prime Boise get in sometime.

OK ... I will only ask this.... look at Navy's schedule vs. WMU's schedule.

Remember that Houston was in the Top 5 when Navy beat them.

Also beat Notre Dame ... but, then again, who hasn't? (oh wait ... WMU hasn't)
