Sad to see Bayou Barriere close its doors. That golf course served a great need and was in super shape for the price that was charged

You could drive it 7,000 if you never left the cart during a round.

I have many good memories on that course. I will never forget the first time I played in a tournament there with my grandfather. I was 16 and on the very first hole I sunk a 50ft putt for eagle. We went on to shoot 15 under that day but didn't even place. Nevertheless it was an awesome day, I think I drove four or five greens that day. I'll never forget the day.

Sorry to see it go. Had some fun playing out there over the years. My son used to like playing there since there was hardly any ob.
