time to bitch about this again. Super Bowl logos used to be awesome

now it's this shite every single year:

It's almost like they are TRYING to making the Super Bowl more boring and sterile. If you're a fan of a team that wins a super bowl, the unique logo is forever representative of your teams success, I look back at that logo from Super Bowl 29 in the collage above and it brings a smile to my face because i instantly recall that 1994 season. I'm sure it's the same for fans of other teams. Now it's just that same logo for everybody.

I would have never noticed this or thought to complain about it. But since you brought it up, i do agree the logos are pretty cool. Better than the new one. Have an upvote.

When is the last time the NFL made a good decision about anything?

I agree and we can all thank Goodell and his "branding" obsession for these boring logos. This clown takes the #1 sport in the country and wants to focus on "branding" as if it needed it to succeed.

2003 in houston sucked.

Houston is so much more than outdated Nasa. please stop referencing it.

really wish Nasa was built in the city. not out in Clear Lake.

Not really. They could have a contest where fans design and send in logos. Gets people to work for fre (or a few prizes).

Except this is the logo. They will continue to be different logo every year.

and they will resort back to Roman numerals next year.

The NFL will return to Roman numerals for Super Bowl LI, slated for February 2017 at Reliant Stadium in Houston. Roman numerals were first employed for Super Bowl V, the Baltimore Colts' victory over the Dallas Cowboys in January 1971.

Don't the pitch committees make their own logo? I'm cool with it being relegated to that. I figure entrepreneurs in Super Bowl City, USA, would have their finger more on the pulse of the local culture than would the NFL anyway.
