How in the frick is that irrelevant?
First, the criticism is that they had some researchers support a claim that second hand smoke doesn't cause cancer. Second, it wasn't the same engineers and it is an ad hom that ignores the actual science and testing that was done and is meant to discredit by association only. It's weak as frick, in other words.

The science has also been questioned by other renowned scientists for the other sides. It's not a concrete investigation. The sketchy company only adds into that

There is no test group, and the colts weren't tested on the same level. That's a shotty scientist experiment for a 9th grade class, let alone a multimillion dollar company

Also please show me where they explain how this is a special case

Which Brady and his lawyers provided, a detailed spreadsheet of texts and emails
No they didnt. What they provided was a list of people he communicated with during that time period and he only did so after the appeals hearing.

People act like the NFL has gained some ground from this release. The court of public opinion might be grilling Brady, however, don't think for a second a judge is going to look past how fricked up Goodell has ran this league. His inconsistent punishments and mishandling of evidence in past cases will grant an injunction to NFLPA

I don't think it's far off to say Brady did not want to hand over any personal information from looking how bad the Ray Rice elevator video tape turned out. How you think this league is credible after having a video leak to TMZ and totally shitteing the bed on that whole situation is beyond me.

Well, now Robert Kraft has jumped back into the ring and he sounds pissed. Looks to me like Roger doublecrossed him on a backroom deal they made. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats now fight the punishment they had accepted. That ship has probably sailed but I bet you see the Pats be a thorn in Roger's side form here on out.

So now Roger has Kraft pissed off and has soured that relationship. Kraft is a powerful owner, I'm sure he has a few other owners on his side.

Way to go Roger, causing a rift in the league over air in a football. I would laugh hysterically if this ends up causing some sort of split in the league. No, the league isn't going to break up because of this, but this is the kind of thing that sets a tone in the relationship amongst league owners. It's a pebble in the shoe, but that pebble is annoying and could lead to escalated aggravation.

Who did no independent testing and whose criticism was refuted and inaccurate in at least one respect.

Brady claims the opposite:

quote:

As for what was on the phone, Brady says that they turned over "detailed pages" of phone records and all of the emails requested by the Wells investigators. They also went to the phone company to retrieve the relevant messages from his broken phone.

Like when the report came out that said their relationship was pretty much dead. Next week they're at a meeting hugging it up.

Dude they're probably golfing together right now. I thought you guys learned your lesson about Kraft and Goodell. They are BFFs.

I love how you're criticizing scientific findings when the Well's report couldn't even keep track of what pressure gauges they used to measure the footballs

This whole situation has become an utter and pathetic mess that is entirely on the head of Goodell. He's a freaking power tripping moron and just as he did in the "bountygate" atrocity, he's using circumstantial and unreliable evidence to try and make a point by punishing a team and player(s) outside of the agreed upon terms of the CBA.

This isn't some type of infraction that is not dealt with specifically in the CBA. It is clearly in the CBA what the punishment for such an infraction is and its a $25,000 fine, yet Goodell has decided to try and make a sacrificial lamb out of Brady to try and restate his power that he's embarrassed himself with his recent acts/decisions.

People act like this is a fair guy doing what's right, yet his history has proven to be nothing more than completely counter to that. Look at his treatment of Ray Rice and clear lying about seeing the tape. Look at his light-handed punishment of the Falcons for what I believe to be a worse crime than the Patriots.

It is pathetic how arbitrary nearly every action of his is and when he has solid evidence, he gives light sentences and yet when he has flimsy at best evidence, he throws the kitchen sink at the player/team.

Again, Goodell is the issue here, not Brady.

Take your fricking medicine like a fricking man Brady. You did not see any of the Saints crying like a fricking baby. They took the hit and their medicine. Jesus Christ I would add onto his and give more suspension's if I was God-dell!

Those detailed records were a list of numbers he called or sent text messages to. They contained no content. Again, only provided after the hearing. Additionally, what Brady is now saying about the destruction of his phone was not said under oath when he was questioned about it.

Actually it states that it includes but is not limited to a $25000 fine.

The only people in the Saints that took their punishments with little fight were the ones that had no protection.

Stating that Payton and Loomis didn't fight their punishments is just stupid seeing as they had no protections or avenues to really fight them as players do with the CBA.

Goodell is what he is, a POS. Why were the Ravens not punished for their attempted coverup of the situation including action of the team's owner and president's involvement? Of course, that wasn't a big deal right?
