Lebron James has more MVPs and NBA Finals appearances than MJ did at 26. He also has the same amount of NBA Championships.

People say Lebron is "no MJ," but quickly forget that MJ lost to the Pistons in 3 consecutive postseasons before making it to the finals in 1991.

ETA I am NOT saying Lebron is better than MJ.

Jordan didn't just fold. He never gave up, even when playing bad. Lebron is very very good, but unless he can take pressure and ignore the media he will never be that good.

Jordan also didn't have a teammate like Wade going off in those games. Jordan also didn't win shite until Phil Jackson and Tex Winters came along.

For that Matter, neither did Kobe.

So outside of Shaq, both Kobe and MJ only won titles under one coach. The common factor there is the coach.

Who cares? MJ won a title in fewer years in the league than Lebron has.

The only people that will argue Lebron = or > than Jordan are under 20 years old.

How many times did Jordan play like shite in a playoff game?

Lebron is already up to double figures at this point.

And who's to say he won't? He still has 10-12 years left in the league, and is only 26. We probably haven't even seen the best he'll ever be yet, and so far he's been pretty damn good

Who cares? Age is what matters. Jordan also had the greatest NBA coach of all time and didn't have to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers for 7 years.

the 2010-11 Heat >>>> The 1995-96 Bulls according to a poster or two on here before the season.

And LeBron's ECF performance made him the second-best player of all time.

Exactly. WTF does age have to do with anything? Lebron had a 3 year head start in the league compared to MJ.

Really? You are going to compare a 20 year career to an 8 year career?

That does not put him in a league with MJ who IMO is the best player to ever live. Maybe when it's all said and done but the comparisons now are meritless and will continue to be into the near future.

well most nba development goes along the same arc, by age

which means his early developmental period was in the NBA and not college. i don't see the point
