Thanks for the update. Hopefully for both of us we'll get to see WM in Sulphur the following weekend.

Yeah... I'd prefer to stay in Ouachita Parish next weekend. Unfortunately I doubt that happens. Breaux is a win. So all Sulphur needs is 1 out of 2.

Not sure of score but heard they won. They'll be at Barbe next weekend.

Live Oak beats Haughton, 10-3. Rematch with Barbe this weekend.

Meanwhile, #14 Brother Martin is now the top seed in their part of the bracket. If they beat #30 Shaw (who upset Zachary), they play winner of #27 Central vs. #22 Byrd in quarters in NOLA. Crazy.

I watched Destrehan beat Capt. Shreve 12-2. Destrehan looks to be pretty solid. Capt. Shreve played with heart, but lacked pitching

Yea Kale Breaux is pretty special player and just as good of a kid if not better off the field. He only went 5 innings tonight, gave up his only hit on an infield single with 2 outs in the 5th.

How did Bryant Bowen do for Shreve? He's a great hitter.

From all the rain in NOLA, the fields at Delgado and UNO simply were not playable. Brother Martin moved their game from UNO to Wesley Barrow (turf field) down the street but no options for Rummel-Holy Cross.

Wow, 14 seed and won't leave home until State. Round ball, round bat, shite happens.

Hmm not real sure specific players. Wasnt scouting, just watching. Shreve took nice hacks, but defense and pitching hurt them

Lafayette High beats East Ascension 2-1. EA walks in the winning run in the bottom of the 7th. Bottom 7th, three walks and a HBP.

0-2 with a BB. Shreve only had 2 hits.

Looks like you were prolific with your comment about having a team that dominated a non-baseball district during the regular season and being overmatched against a perennial top bb team in the state.
