Durant's move is very similar to what Lebron did.
A 45 win team and a 73 win team coming off back to back Finals appearances are the same thing? One team had a singular All star as constructed the other had three including the two time reigning MVP and the defensive player of the year. They both left the team that drafted them to go to a team that gave them a better shot at a ring, but the two situations could not be further from one another.

People don't hate Lebron for basketball reasons. They hate him because he is an insufferable douchebag. You see him doing that stupid dance with each teammate after the game? Douche. The workout videos on instagram screaming? Douche. He ran away to get two championships and ran back "home" to find himself in a better situation than what he left in Miami.
I was a big fan until the Miami thing and he's gotten a million times worst post the decision.

Such a dishonest argument I won't even entertain it

But when that leads to you saying he isn't a leader, not very good, and not top5 all time you become irrational

I hate him because he drives with his elbows up. That's really the only reason I hate him. The elbow to Schroder's head last year really did it for me.

Not good.

It is completely accurate.

So facts that don't align with your argument are dishonest?

I'm in a weird position, I hate golden state and love Durant. And dislike James but respect him as the best current player and respect his game.

I hate Lebron and GS.
I think this is most people's sentiments.
These Finals are the equivalent of the last Presidential Election. 95% of people don't want either one to win, but somebody has to so you might as well enjoy the entertainment.

I hate him... You think after tonight he says it's just '' a game'' Screw his fickle arse.

Dishonest arguments are usually full with facts. Doesn't change anything I said.
Were they a 45 win team the year before? Sure. You're going to argue that the team he joined was a 45 win team? Lol.
One all star? Lol.
All factual when talking about the team the year before. But completely asinine in the way you are using it.
He went and teamed up with an 11 time All-Star and 12 time All star and former scoring champ and took a discount to get better players outside the core three.
But I've already entertained this argument long enough

More proof that Lebron is the fricking goat

People pay too much attention to his actions and mannerisms. They reach for reasons to dislike him.
Creepy if you ask me. It says more about the individual than Lebron

quote:They would probably have been worse than a 58 win team without LeBron. He had 15.6 win shares, and his VORP (8.2) indicates he was worth 22.1 wins above a replacement player. They got rid of their 3 top players behind Wade (Quentin Richardson, Dorell Wright, and Jermaine O'Neal), worth 11.9 wins above replacement but in 83% more minutes than Lebron.
Sure. You're going to argue that the team he joined was a 45 win team? Lol.
Wade (6 games) and Bosh (5 games) both sat out some games, but that was in line two with previous season their combined minutes (5618) was only 29 fewer than they had averaged. So it's unlikely they would have been able to take on much more of a load. Their 4th best player (Miller), missed half the season, and Haslem missed 68 games.
So given all of that, that 58 win Heat team would properly have been roughly anywhere from a 38-42 win team without LeBron. So more than 45 would seem unlikely.

I haven't had much love for the guy over the years, but how is this board not more anti-GSW? Golden State is easily the most hateable team since the Bad Boys and this board gives them a pass while trashing Lebron about being down against one of the most stacked teams ever.
Why is GSW hateable? They are a byproduct of Lebron going to Miami which opened a huge can of worms.

Haven't watched basketball very long have you? Super teams have been around nearly 40 years.
