Not one drafted before the 3rd round. Bunch of misfits.

I hope they show Nate Newton with his hundreds of pounds of weed.

That was one of the best OLs in history. No homer.

I hate the Cowboys, but there is no denying your statement.

I see what Jerry has been chasing, trying to find all diamonds in the rough on the O line. The missing ingredient is Jimmy though.

ETA: and the old school training camp like Moose said.

I saw Emmett Smith hang 186 yards on LSU in Tiger Stadium. I remember the day Jimmy Johnson traded up 4 spots to get him in the 1st round. He was great, but you could have driven a minivan through those holes in Dallas in the early '90s

That's was a great team, and I agree. People are often surprised when I say Barry Sanders was a better back than Emmitt. But you just had to see them both play.

Now, I will say Emmitt was a better back FOR DALLAS at the time, imo.

thats what counts honestly. Without Emmitt, Troy isn't regarded as highly as he is

They were all a perfect fit. I liked how they showed the 94 season how much they missed Eric Williams. That was the real issue after Jimmy left was control of those misfits that were perfect together. But without Jimmy's controlled chaos, they self destructed.

I was too young when Jimmy left to really understand why it was a big deal, but because my unreasonable fandom is a direct product of the 90's (born in 1991 in Fort Worth), I'll never forgive Jerry for his ego demolishing a championship team

Yeah, I hear you. But they were actually both being dicks at the time. Unfortunately, neither one ever achieved the greatness they had together after they parted. But all Jimmy had to do was walk away from the dolphins and go into broadcasting. Jerry was stuck with owning a 2 billion dollar franchise with no real football knowledge.

I want to like Jerry so bad because he's the one with the checkbook, and surprisingly enough, he's done pretty well in staying out of the spotlight this season. and our 7-5 record isn't very indicative of how the season will end up seeing as 2 of our losses are to Denver and KC.

But yeah it's not like Jimmy was trying to be a mediator by any means, but you usually don't fire a Super Bowl caliber coach because of a dick measuring contest

Too bad his legacy is forever tainted by an 18th place finish in Survivor: Nicaragua.
