The Giants just seem to kick it into high gear whenever they reach the playoffs. It doesn't matter if they win their division or make the playoffs as a wild card team. The Giants just seem to perform better than any other team (including the Cardinals) when they reach the playoffs.

The Cubs, on the other hand, just don't have playoff experience. The Cubs have an incredible team this year, but the Giants have experience.

Advantage Giants

This Cubs team was in the NLCS just last year.

Had to go on the road and win a one game winner takes all wild card game and then won a game in STL.

Lester and Lackey and Zobrist all have World Series experience.

Maddon has pretty decent experience.

Basically, you're an absolute shite for brains retard.

We'll see. I think the Giants will eliminate the Cubs. We'll revisit this thread after the Giants/Cubs series...

More threads about the Cubs. You're on a roll. Go ahead and start another.

Giants are certainly dangerous in this 5-game series against the Cubs. But I don't think they have the offense or the bullpen to win 2 7-game series.

Bum can only start 1 game, making them much less dangerous.

Didn't you say early on that cardinals would roll after the all star break and eliminate the cubs from the playoffs?

Anyway,17.5.

hang your hat on that first division title in a long time after the Cubs are eliminated during the playoffs.

In a 5 game series, Bum can start 20% of the games.

In a 7 game series Bum can start 29% of the games.

Saying they are more dangerous in a best of 5 is incorrect.

That very well may happen, but it would prove your point that the Cubs are inexperienced. I hope the Cubs lose, but to say they are inexperienced is just dumb and uninformed.

Don't agree with you often, but you're right about this one. Advantage to the Giants and the dynasty will continue.

adjust those percentages for sweep or 5-game potential in the 7 game series and it's probably close to a wash.

If Buster Posey and Hunter Pence start hitting then they can beat anybody. But the same can be said for all the playoff teams. If their big guys start hitting....
