I worked at the Bon Carre building at the time that the Football Network moved their headquarters there (2003-ish), but I never met or spoke to anyone who worked there.
Does anyone have any stories about their time in Baton Rouge?

I've lived in Baton Rouge pretty much all of my life and I've never heard of this.

It was a thing for like 30 seconds back in 2003 or so.

One of my very close friend's worked there. He told me some hilarious stories about Glanville

What? Nancy Kerrigan's husband started it. They had jerry Glanville, dmarco Farr and one or two others. I don't think it ever aired on normal cable.

I vaguely remember hearing about it at some point but that's about it.

Cole's daddy started it with his inspiring poem about how much his boy got cheated.

I like the part at the end of the Wikipedia entry titled "Possible revitalization."

I went to apply for a job there. Had to go to bon marche' when it was closed but all the storefronts remained. The office was deserted. Walked around the completely empty mall that i grew up going to. It was a very post apocalyptic feeling. Everything was as it was but dead silent

It was a scam iirc. The state actually gave some money for the thing to move here or something and of course that just poof disappeared.
This is all from memory of looking into doing a story on the state basically giving money to shite that didn't even exist. "The Football Network" was part of the story

I have a CSB about it. I ran into Glanville around 2 AM one night at the IHOP on College. He was dressed like Johnny Cash and seemed to be pretty well hammered.
