So the fab five was on tonight and I watched it for probably the 5th time, one of my favorite 30 for 30s, and I always wonder if Michigan will ever put the final four banners back in the rafters or if they will keep them locked away. What do yall think?

Why would they put them back up? They were put on probation, Weber lied to a grand jury and not allowed near the athletic program, and stripped of the wins.

They'd be a nice conversation piece in someone's house...

For me it's Webber, never realized how corny he is until he became an analyst. Rose talks like a robot. Crazy how those two turned out from that bad boy image in college.

I thought he was just being honest - if anything he was more self aware than most people who carry sports grudges

Jalen, IMO, goes down as one of the more underrated point guards to ever play the college game. He was overshadowed by the fab five craze, but was a great ball handler.

That's because they weren't bad kids. The bad boy image was one perpetuated by idiots.

Yeah I find Rose to be just frank and honest. Kind of like Charles Barkley or Herm Edwards but less funny and probably a little smarter.

To be fair, they embraced that perception and perpetuated it themselves. They liked the fear factor that came with being the bad boys, much like the Pistons did.

The only bad boy image thing they embraced was the one time Jalen went to a coke party. Everything else they embraced—blank t-shirts, black socks, saying thank you when people give you money—was just benign stuff that fat old bald white dads whose sons suck at basketball deemed "bad boy."
