The ending just didn't feel right

Amazing game throughout but a terrible ending.
Michigan fouling so Russ couldn't make a dribble and usual scene of throwing the ball to the sky. Then the refs review the clock. Then Russ misses the first FT and yells "damn!" as he's winning a championship.
Ruined the genuine celebration and made it feel more forced when the clock finally ran out, but maybe I'm just a romantic when it comes to sports history.

The ending sucked when Burke pinned Sivas shot on the backboard and the ref called that pussy foul. The Michigan frontcourt was elbowing and pushing in the paint all night and that foul gets called. It killed all momentum for Michigan.

I agree the Trey Burke "foul" was a blocked shot and shouldn't have been called. It defiantly changed the momentum and in a championship game you gotta let the players make plays.

Michigan botched that last minute by letting like 25 seconds of clock run off without fouling. Very anticlimactic ending but hell of a game before

I keep seeing this mentioned but no mention of the play about a minute earlier where siva had a clean steal that would've let to an easy layup being called a foul
