I like it as well. I always wonder why mediocre D1 teams don't offer a scholarship to the best DII players, particularly if it's a position of great need. I'm probably over simplifying things a bit but it seems like every once in awhile you could find a guy who could help you get some rebounds and bring a little toughness to practice at the very least. There's no real investment if they're already a junior or senior. I know the Hogs regularly field teams of 11 or 12 scholarship players. I guess they usually give the extra scholarship or two to the invited walk-ons.
