They are being addressed by the powers that be - and they are taking note of it all including stats, scout feedback, fan reaction in addition to opinions of coaches, ADs and execs. It will be fixed.

If you think otherwise you need to follow soccer.

Rant on Cytards. I would love to keep you out of the thread but instead you will take it over.

LSU is the best team in the Country this year.

All they need to do is see that the outfielders are playing at a depth that they haven't played at since they graduated from JV baseball. Seriously, look at where the outfielders are playing.

This.

I can't tell you the last time I saw a college outfielder have a ball get over them.

Actually, yes I can. It was 2009.

And that "same stuff" is awful...especially in TD Ameritrade. It isn't taking anything away from UCLA to say that there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

They deserved to win this title...but the lack of extra base hits and home runs in TD Ameritrade needs to be addressed.

This

However it would have been nice to see UCLA react to being behind if some of LSU's hits (In most other parks) would have been HR's

There....I said it

oregon st got robbed in the first game
lsu got robbed in the first game.

even the announcers said as much when they commented if the game was scored on how hard and how well a team made contact on the ball then LSU would have been thumping ucla.

taking nothing from ucla they played the game how they needed to win and used it to their advantage

2013 Baton Rouge Super Regional

Tyler Moore pinch hitting.

Ball goes over right fielder's head.

But I do get your point....and agree

Ya know, this would be an enlightening argument if it didn't completely ignore the inherent fact that only one team eventually has to win the game.

Absolutely agree. It isn't fun just sitting there watching pitches for 3+ hours. It's not what the game is about.

If it doesn't change, people will stop paying to sit there for 3 hours to watch pitch after pitch and pop up after pop up. Doesn't matter who your team is.

The last thing sponsors want is to lose people in the stands.

Probably because they don't happen every day. One of the few things i could enjoy constantly would be sex.

These are not pitchers duals. That is what people are missing. I love a pitchers dual as well. Nola vs. Gray was a classic. But to have a true pitchers / defense dual - the threat of a home run must at least loom. That is what keeps your heart rate up during a pitching dual. If you get in a park where you take away that threat it makes average pitchers good and good pitchers great. They are not worried at all about power. That takes away one of fundamental elements of baseball. Hitting for power. All 5 tools should have a chance to excel.

The CWS was garbage.

It's like Gonzaga getting to final four vs. a group of beasts down low and taking away the three pointer. You don't just say you should adapt. You have taken away a fundamental part of the game. It's simply bogus and unwatchable.
