I'll give Iowa and tOSU credit with MSU and Michigan in the middle but the rest of the conference is not as good as the OP predicted it would be.

He was right about Iowa at least. Even I didn't see this season coming. After the last few seasons I thought Ferentz was a lame duck, but over the offseason he adapted himself in ways that most coaches dont seem willing to do when they've been somewhere as long as Ferentz has.

The Big Ten is so tough that Nebraska, a program that was elite while in the Big 8/Big 12, struggles to be competitive.

The wrong Big Ten team is playing tonight. A rematch of the Sugar Bowl would have been great, but the playoff has been terrible this year. I just hope Clemson can make a game of it.
