What if it's all mental and he just sucks now?
It's mental and physical. Should have moved him this offseason while he still had some value. Relief pitchers are like place kickers. They can be awesome for 3 or 4 years and then completely fall apart. This is actually the case for the overwhelming majority of them. There are way more Eric Gagnes and K-Rods than Riveras and Wagners. Combine that kind of volatile nature with injuries and it will just accelerate the process.
